Use the directions below to play the game. Search for dances you do not know using the video gallery and access the music playlist to match the numbers on the card with the appropriate song.

Each player should have access to a phone or computer to look up dances they do not know
Step 1: Pick Your DJ
Choose one person to be your DJ. This person will use the pre-developed Spotify (Apple Music playlist pending) to play the correct song once someone says "Drop The Beat!" This person will not participate as a Choreographer, Dancer, or Player during the game and they will not gain points. They will only play music.
The DJ should ask for the number on the person's card before they start describing the dance. The DJ should be prepared to play the song once someone guesses the correct dance and says "Drop The Beat!"
Pro Tip: Select a DJ that has a knack for music!

Step 2: Pick A Card
All players (except the DJ) will pick one card from the deck. They should not show anyone!
Players should look up the dance moves using the video gallery if they don't know what the dance is. They can use the video associated with the dance to aid in describing the dance to their dancer.
Search by the name of the dance or number on the card.
Select the three dots to search when using a phone or tablet.
Step 3: Start Playing
One person should start as the choreographer and one person will be their dancer.
The choreographer describes how to do the dance without any movement on their part and without using any words in the name of the dance or the song associated with the dance. They should describe movements on how to do the dance. They should not explain what the dance is or the things associated with the dance.
The dancer listens to the choreographer and moves based on the description.
How to win!
All other players should try to guess what the dancer is doing. The dancer should not guess!
Once a player knows the name of the dance they should yell out the name and say "Drop The Beat!". If they are correct the chorographer should also say "Drop The Beat!" and the DJ should play the song associated with the number on the card.
The player who yelled the correct dance and said "Drop The Beat" wins the card for that round. Keep repeating until everyone has the chance to be the choreographer and the dancer. The person with the most cards at the end wins.
(The card number should be given to the DJ before the choreographer starts describing. The DJ is only the DJ and can not win the game. )
